Leonard 6th Places First In Problem Solving Competition

Over the last weekend, students from the Leonard 6th Grade Center Math Club participated in Fort Worth ISD’s second annual Problem Solving Competition. Tekleab Beyene, Mac Clinton Dayrit, Brian Kueck, and Stephanie Lopez competed as a team against more than 20 other middle schools from our school district. The group competed in five events and placed in four of them. Our team placed third in Sudoku puzzles, second in the 24 math operation card game, first in the Can’t Stop probability game, and first in Tangram puzzles. Overall, our team placed FIRST over every middle school in the district.
