Extra Credit Opportunity

Pi is a very important number when considering the circumference and area of circles. Do some reasearch by searching the internet and comment on this post with one thing you learned about Pi (history, number of digits, uses, etc.). Each student who comments will get five stamps for his or her group. Be sure to only post your first name and last initial!

  4. I found the website where u got the pi picture...
    pi rounds to three but there are more than 100 digits in the acual number pi.

    when a circles diamitar is 1 unit it's cerconfrence is PI units.

  7. Pi was made by a wheel and four lines. The lines were about 2 inches apart. The cirle had a point that met with zero. The circle would roll and it landed on a point that was 3.14. That was how pi was made.
