Welcome to class! In sixth grade math, we’re going to learn a lot of things, but the most important is that math is your friend. You’ve got nothing to fear when you walk into your math classroom. Every problem will be explained, and if it still doesn’t make sense, we’re going to find another way to explain it. There are elements of math in virtually every aspect of life; that’s why it’s so important for us to build a good foundation in it. When you leave the class at the end of the school year, it’s my goal for you to have that foundation.
Things are pretty sparse on the blog right now, but in the coming weeks, it will really take off. Make this blog your destination for homework assignments, helpful hints, and other things related to class. This is going to be a great school year and we’re looking forward to working with each and every one of you!
